Grand Union Canal
Located on the Grand Union Canal at the junction with the Slough Arm, at bridge 190 below lock 89. Packet Boat Marina is a modern marina in a semi rural location. Situated in a green belt with its own parkland, it provdes secure moorings in an ideal location. One of the longest lengths of lock free canal (23 miles) in the country, Little Venice/Camden and the Thames at Brentford are only 6 hours cruise away. This tranquil marina situated between Uxbridge and West Drayton is only 4 miles from Heathrow and the M4 / 25 and 20 minutes from central London by train.
Located on the Grand Union just to the south of Hemel hempstead (between locks 67 and 68), Apsley Marina, built in 2003, is a compact mooring which is part of a small regeneration project, providing boaters, either with the perfect stopping off place on your journey, or as a complete more permanent mooring.
