Sunderland Marina Situated on the North East coast at the mouth of the river Wear; Sunderland Marina offers its berth-holders immediate access to the open sea at all states of tide.
Sunderland Marina is unique in that it owned and operated by an independent Charitable Trust.
We receive no funding from local or national government, YOUR mooring fees coupled with OUR efficient management of the Marina allow us to support the Charitable Activities, this is delivered through our Outdoor Education Centre "Adventure Sunderland" which provides training for the local community, from children through to adults, in a range of adventurous activities including sailing and power boating.
The Marina consists of 132 pontoon moorings and 95 fore and aft moorings; staffed 24 hours a day we aim to provide our customers with a friendly service in a safe and secure environment.
