Rhu Marina

Rhu Marina and village lie in a picturesque location on the eastern shores of Gareloch which is on the northern side of the Firth of Clyde. The marina is 24 miles from Glasgow city centre and 2 miles from Helensburgh. The marina is close to all major road, rail, bus and air transport networks. Rhu Marina is owned by The Crown Estate and operated by Quay Marinas. The Marina has 257 deep water berths and 27 swinging moorings and can accommodate 120 boats in the shore storage area. From the start of the 2011 season the Marina has had the benefit of replacement Southern and Western floating breakwaters which have been installed at a cost of some £1.4 million The marina itself provides all the usual facilities, maintained to a high standard. The Marina is home to a wide range of tenants offering a variety of marine services. HM Coastguard and the RNLI are also based at the marina.
