Rudders Boatyard

Rudders is a picturesque, family run boatyard and harbour in Burton on the Milford Haven, S.W. Wales.

Catering for both power and sail, we offer a trailer boat store & launch service,

60 deepwater-swinging moorings for craft up to 50 ft plus some semi-drying moorings.

Facilities include a deepwater landing pontoon, all tide access slipway, boat trips, emergency recovery & salvage, leaning posts, quay wall, lifting to 15 tons, storage ashore, 2,500 sq ft 20ft high entrance boatshed, basic chandlery, security cameras, shower and toilets.

Porthcawl Marina

The town of Porthcawl is nestled amongst some beautiful beaches stretching along the charming South Wales coastline and is a popular holiday destination with plenty to do for all the family. The newly completed Marina has been built within the old working harbour, situated to the South of Porthcawl’s waterfront, and offers berths for up to 70 leisure and commercial craft. The Marina benefits from having a locked access allowing 3 hours of access either side of high water.

Queen Anne's Battery (QAB) is therefore a popular marina with long-term berth holders and many visitors during the summer months. Southampton Town Quay Marina

Town Quay Marina is one of four marinas owned and operated by Associated British Ports; the others being at Ipswich, Lowestoft and Fleetwood.

Shamrock Quay Marina (MDL)

Shamrock Quay is a marina steeped in history, taking its name from the famous J-class yacht, Shamrock V, which was built on this site in 1931 to challenge for the America's Cup. This 255 berth marina is still a major centre for refit and boat building with many specialist trades on site, as well as a bar, continental restaurant, cafe and shops.

Following a £1.5 million refurbishment it now boasts a 70 metre specialist superyacht berth, a 60 metre visitor berth and a modern shower and toilet block featuring a purpose-designed facility for disabled berth holders.

Salterns Marina

Salterns Marina, lies within the beautiful, sheltered waters of Poole Harbour in Dorset and is the second largest natural harbour in the world.

Established for over 35 years, Salterns Marina was one of the first to be awarded the prestigious Blue Flag accolade, followed by a Five Gold Anchor marina accreditation.

The Marina can be easily reached by car, bus or rail, being only a short distance from the main Poole station.

Peter Leonard snr. established the business in Newhaven in 1970. He has seen many companies come and go, but as he has always maintained the high standard of service customers expect PLM still have customers from the 'old' days. His son, Peter (jnr) joined Peter snr from college 20 years ago and between them have built the boat yard you see today. Gunwharf Quays Marina

Gunwharf Quays Marina Located just 200m from the entrance to Portsmouth Harbour and situated on the East side of the Harbour, beneath the landmark Spinnaker Tower is Gunwharf Quays Marina.

Set against the vibrant backdrop of Portsmouth's Historic Naval Dockyard, this specially designed marina can accommodate power and sail craft up to 79 metres, with a maximum depth of 5.5 metres.

Goliath Securities

The large enclosed area of Portsmouth Harbour not only provides a safe haven but is also excellent for day sailing, exploring, pottering or as a base to visit the many local amenities, shops and restaurants. The moorings are in an area of special scientific interest due to the number of migratory birds.

Access to the water is by the public slipway and pontoon next to the Hardway Sailing Club. There is ample free parking in St Helier Road. The moorings are fully maintained by our staff and checked regulary.

Endeavour Quay

Endeavour Quay is a full service, professional boatyard located in Gosport, only 500 metres from the entrance to Portsmouth Harbour. Previously the famous and historic Camper & Nicholsons yard, the site carries an unrivalled yacht racing pedigree.

Still famous with today's yachting fraternity, Endeavour Quay continues to hold high prestige with both racing and cruising boats and provides new build, refit, storage, maintenance and repair services for sailing and motor yachts of all types up to 40 metres LOA or 180 tonnes.

Davis's Boatyard

Established in 1964, Davis's is a family run Boatyard with dry storage for up to 250 vessels and a brand new pontoon for 2012 with 82 berths. Yard services include craning, high pressure cleaning, mast lifts and towing. Pontoon holders have access to a luxury toilet/shower block and individual lockable electricity meters. Dry storage also has access to electricity and water across the premesis as well as toilets/showers. On site there is also a Marine Engineer, Surveyor, Upholsterer and Brokerage for all your boating needs.

Cobbs Quay Marina (MDL)

With its lively, seafaring atmosphere, this 1090 berth marina is a favourite with yachtsmen and motor cruisers alike. It is situated at Hamworthy in Holes Bay within Poole Harbour, the world's second largest natural harbour. Much of the shoreline is undeveloped and there are many inlets and small islands to explore by boat.

Birdham Pool (Castle Marinas)

Birdham Pool was originally developed in the late 1930's from one of the last working tidal mill pools in Sussex . The Old Mill building still stands with the lock beside it. The picturesque setting and quiet friendliness is unique to the 'Pool' which was probably the first purpose built marina in England.

The 'Pool' is situated six miles from the entrance to Chichester Harbour on the southern edge of the area known as Chichester Lake. It is a non tidal basin except at high water springs when the lock is operated on free flow at the top of the tide.

Saxon Wharf (MDL)

Saxon Wharf (MDL) Situated on Southampton's River Itchen, north of Shamrock Quay, Saxon Wharf is a marine service centre offering outstanding facilities for superyachts and other large craft. It boasts a 200 ton boat hoist - the largest in the UK - and heavy-duty, fully serviced pontoons accommodating boats up to 80 metres.

Also at Saxon Wharf is a Dry Stack facility, which offers secure dry berthing and on-demand launching and lifting for boats up to 13 metres.

Ocean Village Marina (MDL)

Ocean Village Marina (MDL) Situated in the shelter of Southampton Water, and right in the heart of Southampton, Ocean Village is more than a marina. Surrounded by a wealth of shops, restaurants, cinemas and bars, it offers outstanding recreational facilities. Overlooking the marina is The Royal Southampton Yacht Club which, although a members club, offers berth holders and visitors a warm and friendly welcome.

Northney Marina (MDL)

Northney Marina is situated on the north shore of Hayling Island within Chichester Harbour, one of Europe's largest natural harbours.

The harbour's sheltered waters provide safe cruising and there are plenty of anchorages to explore within the area, such as Itchenor with its quaint pubs or Bosham village. Further afield, sail west to historic Portsmouth, explore the coastline around the Isle of Wight or go racing in the Solent.

Mercury Yacht Harbour (MDL)

Originally built by Sir Robin Knox Johnston, Mercury Yacht Harbour is situated in a sheltered wooded site where the shallow waters of Badnam Creek join the River Hamble. Just a 20 minute walk from Hamble village, the marina offers berthing for 360 boats and enjoys deep water at all states of tide. Among its excellent facilities are a chandlery as well as a bar and restaurant with waterfront views.

Cowes Boatyard

Medina Yard is located on the west bank of the Medina River in Cowes on the Isle of Wight.

The main entrance for vehicles is only minutes from the floating bridge connecting West and East Cowes. The close proximity to both Red Funnel passenger and vehicle ferries means quick and easy access for non island residents.

The yard and waterfront areas are sheltered and well protected in most weather conditions.

Access to the boat hoist can be accommodated at all stages of the tide for most vessels. There is a minimum maintained depth of 1.2m in the travel hoist dock.

Hythe Marina was the first marina village to be built in the UK and is still one of the finest. Located on the western shore of Southampton Water it's a unique development of a 209 berth marina, together with waterside homes, shops, restaurants and bars. There is a general store on site and a brokerage. There is also a regular ferry service which runs from Hythe right into the centre of Southampton.

East Cowes Marina (Dean & Reddyhoff)

However you choose to get there, once you're on the Isle of Wight you're on holiday. And anywhere near Cowes and it has to be a yachting holiday. There is no escape.

You can't escape the incredible yachting history, and you'll certainly be surrounded by yacht racing nuts as soon as you enter the River. But continue up the Medina a little further, and it all gets more relaxed; arrive at East Cowes Marina and you'll find everything very chilled indeed. There's a brilliant pub there too.

The Harbour is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and nearby Brading Marshes are home to the first RSPB site on the Island. Wick Harbour Authority

Wick Harbour is strategically situated on the northeast tip of mainland Scotland and for the last 150 years has provided a safe haven for fishing, commercial and leisure vessels. Their new Marina facility opened in 209 and development of wave, tidal, offshore wind, and oil exploration in the Pentland and Moray Firths.

The Harbour consists of three basins: the inner and outer harbours are the main fishing and leisure berths and the River harbour is the commercial area.

Whitehaven Marina

Preston Marina

In 1981, after 89 years of commercial operation, the Port of Preston closed. The town of Preston was faced with the question of what to do with a 40 acre basin of water just outside of the town centre. It did not take long before the idea of redeveloping the docklands area into a leisure/retail and residential centre emerged, with a marina at its heart.

Maryport Marina

Maryport is situated on the beautiful Lake District Coast, in the county of Cumbria. The dramatic Cumbrian coastline has the Solway Estuary lapping at its shores and provides excellent sailing and fishing grounds.

The Solway Firth is also an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with numerous Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and fish breeding grounds. Maryport has its own SSSI on the grass banks around the Marina, which lays host to rare plants and butterflies, (if visiting these areas please take care not to disturb or damage them).

With the decline in traditional boat building the yard adopted new materials and developed the Background construction of all welded Aluminium alloy vessels up to 22.0m in length.

Malahide Marina

Malahide Marina is located just ten miles north of Dublin's city centre, convenient to the M1 and M50 motorways, and well served by public transport. Dublin International Airport is a mere four miles from the marina, and high speed ferries to the U.K. are within easy reach.

Malahide, a town on Ireland's east coast known locally as 'the village' has a certain charm that draws people back, again and again. For the sailor, the location is ideal for cruising this scenic stretch of coastline. But when it comes to shore-leave, there is no better place for a stop-over.

Howth Marina

Howth Marina is a full service 300-berth marina overlooking Howth Harbour on a prominent peninsula in North County, Ireland. Services include fuel, crane and cradle, drying out pad, laundry, water and electricity to all berths and extensive changing rooms and showers.

Dun Laoghaire Marina

Dun Laoghaire Marina is located in the historic harbour of Dun Laoghaire on the southern shore of Dublin Bay. The harbour was completed in 1859 and was originally intended as a harbour of refuge. Dun Laoghaire Marina itself opened for business on St Patricks Day, 17th March, in 2001. Since then the marina has grown in success and now has capacity for 820 boats. The marina can be accessed 24 hours by boats of up to 4m draft. We have berths to suit boats from 6m to 30m in length with a maximum displacement weight of 80 tonnes.

Bristol Marina

Bristol Marina is Bristol's only fully serviced marina.

Operating since 1980, the Marina is situated on the south side of the Floating Harbour and is bounded by The Baltic Wharf housing development and the SS Great Britain.

Bristol Marina is accessible from the sea and from the inland waterways using the Kennet and River Avon navigation, indeed it is possible to navigate from London to Bristol using the Kennet and Avon.

Hull Marina (BWML)

Fox's Marina

Fox’s Marina is a small independently run marina on the River Orwell, situated just outside Ipswich in Suffolk providing great value berthing and storage for yachts and motor boats.

The marina is accessible from the sea at all states of tide with no lock gates and is excellently located for access by road (A12 and A14) and rail (Ipswich station less than two miles).

We have a long serving friendly team who give a personal service to our customers. Being part of a large working boatyard means that we have extensive and skilled boat handling capability.

Woolverstone Marina (MDL)

Woolverstone Marina is set in 22 acres of glorious parkland on the picturesque River Orwell with the Royal Harwich Yacht Club nearby.

There are a number of navigable estuaries close at hand, providing interesting sailing in sheltered waters. The adjacent River Stour is particularly scenic and there are numerous creeks in Walton Backwaters to explore. To the south, the Colne and Blackwater estuaries offer varied sailing, while turning north takes you towards the River Deben where you can cruise upriver past Ramsholt to the pretty town of Woodbridge.

Suffolk Yacht Harbour is located on the north bank of the River Orwell with 24 hour tidal access to Harwich Harbour and the extensive cruising estuaries of the East Coast.

550 fully serviced berths are complimented with an onsite boat yard facilities specialising in modern and traditional repairs, boat hoists up to 60 tonnes capacity, chandlery, fuel and gas sales.

Lowestoft Marina

Lowestoft marina opened in 2002 and offers up to 40 berths (20m max). The marina is located on Lake Lothing with easy access to southern Broads and the sunrise coast. Commercial/storage units are also available to rent and vary in sizes from 3m2 to 480m2.

Blackwater Marina

Blackwater Marina caters for a diverse range of vessels from modern yachts and motor boats to traditional wooden barges

Pontoon berths with electric and water, swinging moorings and hard standing are available. Visitors welcome.

Toilets and showers, all types of servicing and maintenance carried out including shipwright and steel fabrication.

108ft floating dry dock, 180ton lift for repairs, refits and surveys.
